The construction of the hotel was not only technically challenging, but also aesthetically challenging. The characteristics of the site – its historic surroundings, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the limited floor space of 670 square metres – required a major engineering and architectural challenge. During the construction, Australian-born architect Anthony Gall and Market Construction Ltd. team has created a curved floor plan and design that harmoniously blends with the city’s historic character, while providing a modern, iconic look.
