YAMA Budapest opened its doors in 2021 in the heart of Budapest, in one of the most beautiful buildings of the neoclassical Lipótváros. The restaurant is just a few minutes’ walk from the Basilica, and has a special atmosphere just by its appearance.

The name YAMA means “at the top of the mountain” in Japanese, which perfectly reflects the restaurant’s philosophy of providing the highest level of gastronomic experience. Just as being at the top of a mountain means freedom and euphoria, YAMA offers a liberating experience of experience, joy and re-discovery.

The restaurant owners have brought their experiences from around the world to Budapest to showcase their interpretation of gastronomy as contemporary art. The fusion cuisine is a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western flavours, which is both fascinating and exciting.
